Globadores is an english/spanish hybrid word meaning “global futbol players” and it perfectly describes the tradition of this pinnacle futbol club. Players from across the globe come to Monterey for both a top class graduate education and also to play for this legendary futbol club from the Monterey Peninsula.
The Monterey Institute of International Studies Futbol Team has a long standing and exciting history. With great success, the MIIS Futbol Team has played in the competitive Monterey Peninsula Soccer League for almost 25 years. Every year more than half of the team graduates and another set of students from all around the world find themselves putting on their boots to join in this great tradition.
